A coarse Roughage mix of A grade lucerne, eragrostis, cold pressed Canola oil and molasses. This product is an ideal addition to any horse’s diet during winter when grazing is minimal and the quality of roughage is questionable. It can also be fed all year round as a good quality form of roughage in addition to the daily feed.
We have 2 different Lucerne Chaff / Blend Cubes available:
Royal Lucerne Cubes
Our original Lucerne Cube (10mm) recipe made with A-grade lucerne chaff & small amount of bran & molasses. This product is an ideal addition to any horses diet during winter when grazing is minimal & quality of roughage is questionable. It can also be fed all year round as a good quality form of high protein roughage in addition to the daily feed.
Royal Lucerne chaff
A quality lucerne chaff made with A-grade lucerne. Perfect for adding lucerne to your horses diet with minimum wastage , consistent quality & availability as compared to baled lucerne. Great addition for horses with dental issues struggling with long stemmed lucerne hay.
Royal Lucerne pellets
A premium small lucerne pellet (6mm) made with only the best lucerne. Contains ONLY premium lucerne chaff. This product contains NO bran or other hay.
Royal Chaff Blend Cubes
A chaff blend cube (10mm) containing A- grade lucerne, eragrostis & bran. This product is an ideal addition to any horses diet during winter when grazing is minimal & quality of roughage is questionable. It can also be fed all year round as a good quality form of roughage in addition to the daily feed.
Royal Roughage 8%
Royal Roughage 8% is a small (6mm) eragrostis hay based roughage pellet also containing other roughage sources like lucerne & bran. This is a low energy, low NSC, maize free roughage source. This dust free, easy to store & transport roughage replacer is a convenient way to add roughage to any horses diet. Especially usefull when quality forage is scarce. Perfect for older horses struggling to chew traditional hay.
